Estate Plan Pricing

Most attorneys charge between $1,500 on the low end, up to $8,000 for basic estate plans. The reasons the costs are so high is because of expertise and because of the time it can take an attorney or law firm to educate you about estate planning, review your finances and assets, and prepare and sign the estate plan.

At Vault, our goal is to lower the cost by creating videos you can watch to be educated about estate planning, make knowledgeable decisions about how to set up a custom estate plan for your family, and make it affordable. The people who need estate plans the most are those with young children. Nothing could be worse then young children getting stuck in legal limbo after the loss of a parent or both parents, waiting for courts to appoint guardianship and make decisions about the family’s finances and assets.

Trust Plan: $750

Will Plan: $299

We highly recommend the Trust Plan. With a will plan, your family will still have to go through Probate Court. It will be public. A will is basically just a letter to the judge about how you want to distribute assets following your death. There are rules and limitations on how you can distribute assets with your will.
